Everyone has felt that way before it seems. Abbey really is a good and true person. Passion is something that takes time to be tamed. He is probably the most dynamic and interesting characters you have. He really fees real and the phrasing you use with the way he talks really feels real. Currently the most tragic, and my favorite, character that you have.

Man, it must be pretty darn difficult for Abbey. He probably thought he would be more or less okay with seeing his mom, but as she draws ever closer, so does his guilt. The closer he gets to potentially tying up loose ends, the more guilt he feels about the entirety of the situation, especially because of what his father said. People keep telling him to get over it, but come on, it’s difficult to get over something that has been tormenting you for a good chunk of your life just like that.

Again, Abbey, you need to realize that you’re getting better than you used to be. I know it’s hard to move on from past problems with yourself, but fixing those flaws take time. Janet is right, and the fact that you notice this problem already goes to show that you are a far better man than your father simply by knowing it’s wrong. Just hang in there, it may be a difficult task, but I believe you have the strength to commit to fixing these flaws. So stop being so hard on yourself about it. You will become a far greater man than your father EVER was.

Too bad he can’t hear me….
