I honestly love this comic, coming every other night on a school week just to read and learn more about the characters. I like the pacing, the story, everything there is to love.
I love the new page, looking forward to seeing what happens next week. However I am not going to lie, on this page I had to do a double take because I thought that it was the tripping turtle in the alley =P

Looks like he is going to confront his father. I honestly hope that guy isn’t heartless enough to actually beat his own kid. What I want to know if this has happened more than once later on after this flashback. Since Molly cried out when her foster parents were just fooling around and she was afraid they were going to full force hit each other.
I mean after all this, especially at her age and not fully seeing the full scene I dont know if a child her age would really see what was going on. Perhaps I’m just over thinking it but for now I see her getting so upset in the last few pages back because this could have happened more than once. Cant wait for next week!

I love how the pieces are finally coming together since “New Beginnings” and what led up to little Abbey running angrily to his father and confront him at least that’s what I am assuming he’s doing here.
It’s terrible to have a troubled past come and haunt Abbey from time to time as he continues to grow, wondering if things would’ve been different if this happen instead or anything that could prevented his mother from being hurt.
I really hope Abbey can get through this even though he’ll never forget that day and doesn’t continue to blame himself. He’s a really good kid.
Amazing job with this chapter, Taeshi. I cannot wait to see how this one will end.
