Now for a real comment. I was honestly almost expecting them to show up at a mental hospital, or a hospital in general, and his mother no longer be mentally sane, or be in some sort of coma from the head trauma. But this really did surprise me. But in a way its good, for both Abbey and his sister. They can now begin the moving on process from their past, and stop wondering about their mother, and where she is and how she is doing, and why she hasn’t found them yet. I hope Janet can tell poor little Molly that her mother didn’t just forget about them, and loved them to the very end.

That’s just terrible…
Though, doesn’t this mean his father might have been given the death penalty? His father would certainly deserve it, but…I can’t imagine finding out your mom is dead like this. This is way beyond depressing.
I’m expecting Abbey to have huge meltdown…I know I would.

Well, I certainly didn’t expect this, it’s the kind of sad twist that is expected but at the same time… well, you can’t look at this and not feel tears on your cheek or a pang in your heart. Abbey, you poor soul, I would be in denial too if my mother was a gravedigger. Hopefully time will heal this wound.
