Oh my goooooooooooooooooooood, Paulo! I’m glad you’re not trying to make a big deal out of it but if this feeling lingers and it’s still strong, breaking up with Jasmine seems logical and humane to do!

I think Paulo should break up with Jazzy, because he really really loves Lucy. Think of it, if he’s dating Jazzy and he longs for Lucy, it will make Jasmine feel bad (or jealous) and Jasmine is a super cool person, Paulo obviously does not want to hurt her feelings, so instead of making things harder I think it will be better for them to be friends. Lucy could also need some cheering up from a close friend.

Does no one realize how lovely this page is? Finally Paulo is being straightforward (relatively) about his discomfort both to others and himself, and we’re shown him and Tess talking for the first time in forever, and, to that point, two people who need to have a conversation are actually successful in having one! Eeeeee

I have to say I’m in love with Paulo’s page-long blush-whilst-looking-conflicted-and-uncomfortable. I’ve very much been there. I’ve also felt for Paulo the whole two years I’ve been a BCB reader. As nice as Jasmine is to him, I feel like he still hasn’t gotten his lucky break.
