She's trying her best, and seems genuine, but it's clear Mike staying around her is just hurting him even more. It's a tragic place to be for both of them due to a breakdown in communication on both sides.

Honestly I agree. While I know Mike is responsible for his actions, I know to some degree sandy influence those as well as barely interacted with Mike up till burnt bridges episodes.
