As much as I love him saying this , he still has some reflecting to do. As Lucy always had problems with her feelings, they were never feeling the same way at the same time. Like Lucy was never able to love Mike freely because he would always put sandy first and make her feel unsafe with her feels like? What else is she supposed to do. Regardless, happy with Mike being able to say something like this out loud.

I think it is about time that people are reminded that yes what Mike did was not okay, but that also the pressure Lucy kept putting on him wasn't okay either.

I should also mention I hope Mike gets out of his toxic relationship because Sandy seems to be a bit manipulative. I lost the little remaining respect for her when she cheated on Mike.

Yeye! Personally I don't see Sandy as manipulative, at least not intentionally. She's just a kid too, and though she has been forced to grow up a bit and been borderline robbed of a lot of her childhood, she's not much more experienced in romance than anyone else her age. Her radio silence after Francis always read to me more as guilt than manipulation, her loving Mike and not wanting to hurt him with the truth that she was spending time with someone else, someone she was developing feeling for. (again, she's a kid, long distance relationships are hard enough for adults to the point "Dear John" letters are commonplace) But either way, it is DEFINITELY a toxic relationship for Mike at this point, and even if he wants to remain friends with Sandy, help support her with her life goals, her betrayal of his trust isn't something he'll ever be able to overlook in a long term relationship. Personally, knowing how this comic likes to juxtapose things, I'm fully expecting Mike to break up with Sandy when she comes over for their Valentines Day date. :P

Yeah I don't hate Sandy. I just think for both of them. It would be best to realize they are only hurting each other by staying in a relationship.

I really would love to see them kiss. But that'd be a really bad idea. Honestly a hug or some other good words should be it. Buuuuuuut this being the world of Drama Cats i foresee an imminent kiss.

Definetly what Mike needed to say. To show Paulo that he just wants his friends, he wants people he can trust without risking hurting their feelings by accident just cause he doesn't have a romantic love for them. Paulo has other issues he has to deal with. Pining over Mike and not getting it back is not another problem he needs. A gentle way to set a boundary but clearly say he wants/needs Paulo still.
