Alright, here me out: PaoloXDavid ship. Is that already a thing? David is always there for Paolo and is best boy. Who wouldn't want that?

ngl, I'm not entirely certain that would work out for the best. Paulo seems deeply attracted maturity, and David doesn't really pass that bar. Plus, dunno why, but David always read to me as Aro, and I think Paulo needs someone more romantically involved in the relationship. (see: how PauloxRachel wound up despite only being friends with benefits)

I've always had a soft spot for David and I really REALLY want to see him have an actual straight to it and blunt take on what he thinks of Paulo or what his romanitc interests are. (Ik he said he loved Paulo but it's very up for interpretation there yk?) I know he's very fun and comic relief, and also like, literal relief for his friends around him. But having a very serious chapter with him as a focus would be soooo amazing. I want to study him under a microscope and learn the secrets of what it takes to be the actual very best boy that he is.

We've seen his romantic interests with Katie and "Flower Girl." Far as his attraction goes, it seems primarily based on physical attraction, and until otherwise shown, mostly leans towards other canines. In other words, "puppy love." I always pegged his love for his friends as more platonic, and since Paulo is more of a romantic, of COURSE he's going to super misread David's affection in that regard.

Paulo might misread it, if it's truley a type of affection that wasn't meant to be anything more than platonic. I did remember Davids past lil crushes but I'm talking about more as he matures as those were a bit ago. A lot of characters haven't stayed the entire same and a lot have changed in what they like and how they act. So definitely we shall see lol (I got some high hopes some sorta romantic moves happen regardless of what either like) just because of how often David plays around, and how much more openly bi Paulo is being around his pals/and wanting to act on them/find some sort of dude reciprocation.
