*Katie, the top of her head now wrapped in bandages, clenches her fists and shrieks.*
Katie: Ugh, I just want to get this OVER WITH!

Katie: Whatever!
*Katie throws the football, completely missing the hoop.*

Katie: Whatever!
*Katie throws the basketball, completely missing the basket.*

Katie: Whatever!
*Katie randomly scatters a handful of the rings.*

Katie: WHAT-ever!
*Katie fires an arrow into the air.*

*Lucy and Mike watch Katie’s tantrum. Lucy scratches her chin.*
Lucy: Isn’t she a cheerleader?

*Lucy puts her hands to her hips.*
Lucy: Why can’t she get her head in the game?
*Mike looks up at the sky, shocked.*

Mike: LUCY!!
*Mike shoves Lucy out of the path of Katie’s arrow.*
Lucy: YEEEK!!

*Mike holds Lucy’s face, looking into her eyes with a gentle expression.*
Mike: That was close..
*Lucy blushes, and seems to be touched.*
Lucy: Y-you saved me..

*Katie throws her arms up in frustration.*
Katie: I wouldn’t be like this if I could just, like, TALK TO HIM.
*Lucy turns to Katie in anger.*
Lucy: What?! Have you SEEN what he’s been doing?

Lucy: I don’t think it’s safe right now.
*A thought bubble appears from Mike.*

*In Mike’s imagination, David focuses on firing an arrow.*
Katie: DAVID!!
*He looks behind him as Katie calls his name.*

*Katie yells, raising her arms up to attract attention.*
Katie: PLEASE JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU--
*David looks shocked.*
David: ?!

*David lets go of the bowstring, firing an arrow that pierces straight through Katie’s head. They both have blank, startled smiles.*

*Katie and David remain still with no reaction as a comical amount of blood gushes from her wound into David’s face.*
David: Ahh.. whoops.

Katie: OHGODOHGODOHGODOHGODOHGODOHGOD
*Katie runs around holding her bleeding head. David remains blank-faced.*
David: You’re bleeding.

*Back in the present moment, Mike and Lucy look horrified as they finish imagining what might happen. Katie prances past them in the background.*
Katie: Oh, you’re just, like, being dramatic!

*Lucy holds Katie back and Mike blocks her way forward, pushing her back with his palm.*
Katie: Hey, what are you guys doing?!

Veronica: Oh, that lifesaving Maishul~~~

Lucy and Mike actually start daydreaming the scene that starts on panel twelve and goes to panel sixteen.. it looks like it ACTUALLY HAPPENED, but it didn’t. You can see the thought bubble.. but I’m just making it clear for those that didn’t get it. There’s only so much you can do with this grid-panel format!
