*Mike looks around frantically.*
Mike: No, no.. I couldn’t have lost her already..
*Mike looks upset. Behind him, a girl with black hair and a bow is ordering a hot dog from a stand.*
Mike: Where is she.. please..
*The girl begins walking away. Mike notices her.*
Hot dog vendor: Take care!
*Mike runs after her, waving his hand and smiling.*
Mike: Oh my god! SAND--
*A crowd appears, and Mike gets caught in the middle of it.*
Mike: ACK!!
*Mike frees himself from the crowd. He looks up and sees the girl sitting at the edge of a fountain.*
Mike: …
*The girl has her back to him, eating a hot dog.*
Mike (thinking): It’s her.. It’s really her!
*Mike approaches her slowly, smiling and blushing.*
Mike (thinking): The girl I’ve waited for all these years.. finally, our moment..
*Mike stops behind her, smiling shyly.*
Mike: Sandy?
*The girl turns around with a neutral expression. She is not Sandy.*
Black-haired girl: Hmm?
Black-haired girl: Are you looking for somebody?
*Mike looks surprised and disappointed.*
Mike: …
*Mike hesitates, backing away.*
Mike: Ahh.. well I.. well.. umm..
*The girl looks at him blankly.*
Black-haired girl: ?
*Mike looks heartbroken.*
Mike: …
*Mike looks away, upset.*
Mike: Never mind. My mistake.
Mike: Sorry for bothering you..
*Mike turns and walks away.*
Black-haired girl: No problem, dude.
*Mike continues walking away, his ears lowered.*
Mike: It wasn’t her.. I never saw her at all..
*Mike shuts his eyes, on the brink of tears.*
Mike: Why does it always end up going wrong?
