@Akiriuu: That’s basically the general concensus, from what I’ve seen. It was BLATANTLY STATED that Lucy is still alive, and WILL be returning to the comic. She isn’t dead, she’s just been put on a (temporary) bus, if you will.
She’s out of town at the very least.

@carcinoGenetecist (god damn that’s a tricky name),
Most were joking, those who were serious aren’t taking paulo’s character into account. He’s a douche, but he’s not a violent misogynist. Honestly, outside him punching Mike a few chapters back, i don’t think Paulo’s ever thrown a punch for the majority of this comic. Much less trying to strike a female. It would be out of character for him. Buuuut, i would be lying if i couldn’t see where they are coming from.
Mike and Paulo are both characters who were pushed beyond their boiling point. As Paulo is a more physical character, i believe that they thought an equivalent reaction would happen. That while Mike retaliated with his voice, Paulo would retaliate with his fists.
But again this would out of character for him (i mean lucy literally slugged him a few times and he didn’t slug her back), albeit a juicy twist that there is some sort of hidden misogyny under his layers of insecurity. I think that’s where that idea is coming from. That the critical hit would be a physical one from Paulo which reveals a new layer to him caused by all the hits he’s taken from females lately.

Oh why hello darling! Sorry I haven’t been around. It’s nice to see you being your inquisitive and lovely self.
As for what Paulo is looking at, I feel whatever it is will either be something that reminds him of Lucy or will surprise us all by being something completely different. Or maybe he’s referencing back to his “doughnut” art he and David were working on earlier. Regardless, I think people underestimate how Paulo can suddenly have these mature and serious moments, where he’s actually trying, y’know? He can be pretty immature a lot of the time, but he’s a boy in high school, a lot of ‘em are like that.
I think Sue and Paulo have a pretty solid friendship in the respect that they seem to have a mutual “okay”-ness. There are no really deep expectations from each other and their company is, again, “okay” at best, seeing as they aren’t good friends, just friends.
I hope that makes sense, what I’m trying to say. @-@
