Fourth panel makes me think this isn’t entirely innocent. In any case, blank-faced babbu Augustus is almost too much for my heart to handle. Like Blank on Purpose said, I get the feeling he’s already isolated, but doesn’t care much yet.

M03Mo3 because Augustus shoplifted before. In one page Daisy even caught him in the act. Augustus then put the item back on the shelves out of guilt (I geuss).
that was a hilarious page btw 
There is no doubt that Augustus wants a better life but you have to take into account his previous actions that have been shown in this comic.
Anyhow we will know if he was shoplifting in the next pages.
