Guys he’s obviously talking about BOTH Melanie and Lucy.
Melanie for being able to finally get out of that nightmare.
Lucy for surviving her suicide attempt.
That’s why @Taeshi included both Lucy and Melanie in this chapter and wrapped it up with that statement. Because she was addressing them both.
