We really saw a lot of Daisy during Volume 1, we kinda know about what her insecurities are so far, like her dislike of her appearance and generally not being seen as a attractive by a lot of the boys. “It’s all in the mind” was there to shape this idea that Daisy still partially resented Lucy’s natural beauty like she did back during confrontation instead of having gotten over it. She hadn’t grown at all in her time with Abbey.Admittedly I’d love to see more around why she’s so obsessive with him but with Lucy back I feel the comic is likely to work more on her, Paulo and Mike for a duration. I feel Daisy’s recovery might be something inbetween pages or as an extra sub plot to a chapter.
