Maybe!!! I’m just tired of abbey always being the “bad guy” in him and paulos conflicts. I want them to be past that. I feel like how Paulo said “why do I always have to be the one to change” at the carnival with Lucy, it feels like abbey with Paulo. Abbey usually snaps and is seen as unreasonable and l don’t like that. While it’s a little excessive that abbey is like “I have my eye on you” with Paulo, it’s not like Rachel and specifically Madison haven’t also looked down on Paulo for his behavior with women either. IDK!!! I like abbey and his last moment with Paulo was really good ;___; I just want things to stay good between them

On the one hand, Paulo should check up on Mike because the friend group (barring Daisy) isn’t breathing down his neck. On the other hand, I desperately want this to be a Paulo/Abbey bonding chapter where the drama isn’t centered around Mike (95% of the drama in the current day comic traces back to Mike and having something different would be refreshing).

Bit of a delayed reaction on my end but that girl Paulo is picturing is his half sister, right? His mom’s daughter in her new family and all that?

Remembering that makes me so mad at her all over again. I wonder if they’ll ever meet.

Mike has been peeled away so much because of what happened that it is likely harder to hide it. Like I said, band-aid on a gaping wound. It can only do so little for a short amount of time. There likely also is a conflict of the mind going on inside Mike’s head. One side of him wants to face the truth while the other wishes to remain in denial. Now Paulo, please go and check on him. Mike needs a friend there by his side.
