I still cant say enough how much I absolutely adore Paulo and Abbeys relationship now. I never would have thought they’d be here when I picked up the comic over a decade ago, it makes me so happy. Also good on Paulo for sticking to his guns and not allowing himself to be manipulated. Love that boy so much.

Good, you are doing the right thing Paulo. Check up on him, cause it is very clear Mike is barely hanging on by a thread. Try to be the one to keep him steady and not do anything stupid. He might be an idiot, but remind him he is an idiot with friends who are there for him.

I really see this as Paulo coming in to step up for Mike and guide Mike to a better path, the title for this chapter seems pretty fitting for Paulo being the one to speak up on the troubles going on. He already knows Lucy’s side so now hopefully he gets to break through Mike and for once for this grey dense cat to actually let his feelings pour out and not make an excuse around it again 😭😩

We love to see Paulo actually being a decent friend. How last chapter ended really worried me immensely, seeing as how a multi-track train collision happened where no one could avoid it.

This seems like later in the same day too, so this will be an interesting encounter of seeing A. Paulo’s reaction to what the heck happened (if Mike even talks about it) and B. How Mike proceeded beyond being caught in a 4v1 wombo combo. Good stuff! :D Can’t wait to see the next page.

I love how Paulo seeing Mike made him spend like six panels working through whether to approach him or not, just like Lucy when SHE saw Mike depressed AF… except she concluded she can’t be the one to help him, which given everything makes sense.

The Abbey & Paulo moment was good while it lasted. Can’t wait for the next page!

When Paulo finds out what August did to Mike and his friendship with James, he might lash out at august for what he did.

Lucy is gonna call him out for talking to mike, Paulo is gonna call out Lucy for manipulating him and may consider ending his friendship with her.

Things are going to get worst before they get better.

Love seeing Paulo and Abbey getting along so well they can joke around like that. Nice breather before we check back in with Mike.

Paulo going from the guy who relentlessly bullied Mike during the earliest stages of the comic and the most vocal about his mistreatment of Lucy (getting physical with him during Rachel’s birthday, intimidating him to leave the table when Lucy returned to Rose ville) to becoming his biggest supporter (even more than Daisy) is admittedly heartwarming to see and showcases just how much he’s grown throughout the duration of the comic. Here’s hoping he doesn’t pull a classic Paulo move of having his heart in the right place but putting his foot in his mouth and making the situation exponentially worse for everyone involved.

yes Paulo finally going to talk to Mike!!! he obviously cares for all his friends and that promise to Lucy wasn’t accepted it back them so it didn’t count, I hate that Lucy turn his words against him like that, this is probably going to go wrong but it’s better than letting Mike stew in his own thoughs we don’t want him to do a Lucy, please let this not get out of hand, don’t want things to get worse is that too much to ask for
