I am glad Daisy has become more vocal about her wants and needs because it felt like she really wasnt in her past relationship with Abbey. But she almost over corrected and now is a bit too vocal. I get you want things bby but you dont have to yell about them. Have a conversation, talk about your feelings, but dont explode about them 😭

I’ve had a hunch their first relationship problem was being on totally different pages about getting physical. Paulo’s trained himself so long to not view her in a romantic light that it’s gotta be hard to cross that threshold, dating or not.

Pretty sure he’s just hesitant because it matters and emotionally loaded, everyone before was mostly just lust and didn’t know them that well. Even when he got to be a little frisky with Lucy or Tess he didn’t really KNOW them like he knows Daisy.

to me, daisy being angry and yelling isn’t even really the worst part about this situation imo. it’s fair for her to be angry! but bringing up abbey kissing her + paulo’s history with women just feels petty to me, and like bit of a guilt trip. i think THAT sort of behavior is what makes daisy kinda childish to me, NOT the fact that shes angry and yelling.

i kind of hope paulo doesn’t cave and give her what she wants right here; not only because i feel like he’d be doing it out of guilt and his fear of screwing it up with her, but daisy needs to learn that this isn’t an okay way to talk to anyone, much less your partner. maybe i’m reading into it too much though lol

Damn this boy us tired of rushing intimacy in his relationships… though to be fair, the only other person he officially dated was Jasmine and they did litterally nothing. Wasn’t their first kiss when they were breaking up?

Paulo basically cherishes Daisy and wants to take things slower than past relationships that were superficial by comparison (or maybe there’s some uncertainty on his part?) But Daisy wants to feel desired, part of that meaning her partner is more assertive. Daisy’s flashing a green light, but Paulo’s stuck on solid yellow.

i think it couldve been really sweet if they had just gone into a kiss after the last panel on the last page, but after just venting at him with her frustration theres just no way we get a kiss in this immediate moment that doesnt feel bad or weird (for both of them!). it is totally understandable (esp for a teen, and assuming daisy doesnt really understand paulo’s… complicated sexual/intimate history) to have the frustration and insecurity daisy is feeling, but they need to work on communicating and daisy’s gotta understand that you cant just start a new save file and have it start where you left off in your old one!
