Veronica: Lucy’s family aren’t a bunch of crabby people. Don’t let Sam’s demeanour and Jordan’s current attitude tell you otherwise! Sam is a cranky, antisocial, cynical bookworm, but Jordan just doesn’t like Mike that much. He’s really goofy and happy otherwise.

Honestly Jordan is the odd man out, Sam and Lucy are more birds of a feather.

.. well, maybe Jordan isn’t the odd man out. He takes after his mother more, who is also goofy and happy.

Its the little things that make these scenes adorable. Like Chirpy’s little oblivious smile in panel 3. Shows the skill in planning these pages out because each character has an independent emotion reflected quite well in their expressions. Taeshi’s greatest strength I think is character design and this is just a good example. Keep ‘em coming!
