@JuniorBoomer: That’s the thing, it’s not a one-page joke. The last page set up the April Fool’s page, but even though it’s changed, David is still there on the last page. Anyone reading some time from now for the first time will wonder the same thing. To them, David just disappeared/the girls just ignored the boy that snuck into their slumber party. Sure, some may read the comment by Taeshi, but a lot will just go straight to commenting about the confusion. So unless it’s addressed later, it just seems disjointed.

This and today’s MSPA really shouldn’t be sharing my mind

It should be obvious to people that if he’s not appearing in the comic, he left. And when I say one page joke, I meant the page where he was under the bed since that was just a couple panels with him as the punchline and it will have no impact on the story whatsoever, and really I mean, if anyone actually believes that they just left David under the bed and that he’s still there, they need to have their heads examined.
