OMG! FIRST! Better make it good. Hello, relatively new member, started reading ‘bout a month ago. Read all 63 chapters in 12 hours (100% serious). I was admitted to the hospital for overexposure to awesomeness and drama poisoning (jk). This is one of my favorite comics (tied with TwoKinds). I’m a hardcore MikexSandy fan. I would serious declare complete allegiance of my family’s name to Taeshi for 7 generations if MikexSandy prevails. I’m amazed on how awesome Taeshi is with this comic and give it infinite thumbs up. I read BCB at least once a day.

Relevant to today’s comic, what is up with you Lucy?! You are just hilarious.

P.S. One question, why does Yashy call Mike Flea? I just don’t understand?

I started reading last week from the beginning, and just yesterday I got caught up. I’ve never really been much into webcomics past a few popular comedy ones, but I have to say, I’m pretty impressed here. I’m hooked to the point where I’m here at midnight waiting for the newest page to come out! I love it, and please keep up the good work!

@ Fallen-Meep: don’t bother ever trying to get first. there are too many ppl that just post a letter or symbol first and then edit there post later. they make such a competition out of it that sometimes I don’t even read comments. eventually Taeshi & Soupy may just remove the option for ppl to edit their comment, ban them from commenting, or close the comment section down completely. my thing is if you have something you want comment about just comment, it shouldn’t matter if your 1st or last, I’m sure when she has a chance taeshi reads all the comments.

Killer Cobra- First of all, MikexSandy will NOT prevail, I can assure you, so enjoy them before Lucy steals Mike. 2nd, I read all the chapters in eleven hours and thirty minutes, which I did in five days *one-ups by half an hour.* Also, Yashi calls Mike “Flea” because it is short for “flea-bag,” which is another nickname for Maishul that just means he has fleas

Miss Taeshi, when it comes to expressions you are a professional, but when it comes to drawing background… well… why don’t you try drawing in perspective? it takes more time, but the results are amazing (or maybe that’s why you don’t draw in perspective..)
also, I think Augustus’ shadow in the first panel should be darker, so he won’t look like he isn’t there… or floating…

Well if the part earlier in this chapter was any indication we can be sure Augustus has something in mind for Lucy. Definitely not wooing her, because he loves Daisy, but something.

I think what most people don’t appreciate is the amount of work you put in just the first panel. I can only imagine it took hours to color every brick, do every line for the chain link fence, do every stage of the benches, put a bit of a shadow for the building, and then draw a flawless Augustus. The sad thing is that most people don’t notice these details unless you make a mistake. Just thought you might like to know someone does notice them Tashie. Your defiantly a trooper for being able to release the comics every two-three days.

@Suitcase, I hate to give to critique to an artist when I’m hardly one myself, but in this case I think I might be able to lend a hand. I wasn’t sure if you were being sarcastic, and I’m sure you have a search engine, but perspective drawing is a method of creating three dimensional objects. An artist picks one or more points on the horizon line, and from then on, every line on a 3D shape points at one of those points. One point perspective, where every line points at one point, is generally used for foreshortening, and two point is usually applied when drawing cities. My image in Candybooru about Portal uses two point: the points on the right go towards a right-side point on the horizon line, and vice versa for those on the left. I hope this was a decent explanation, sorry if anything was unclear.
