Lucy is holding her ground but its plainly obvious what’s happening here, she CARES about what he thinks of her. Despite all she said against Daisy about her being desperate for attention, Lucy is now the one looking for someone to notice her, (which you can’t blame her for since the only person she cared about is now ignoring her). I still don’t trust Augustus not because I think he is a rapist, but because he is a manipulator who enjoys targeting people and messing with them, as we have seen time and time again.
