Hmm, is Lucy’s resentment towards Sue mostly due to not being able to trust anyone? Because while I know many of the people in their friend group have wronged Lucy in both big and small ways over the years. I don’t remember Sue ever doing anything to wrong her personally. I don’t think the Play counts either, because she was trying to include Lucy and didn’t know what was going on between her and Mike at the time. So that technically wasn’t even Sue’s fault.

Lucy, if you’re too overwhelmed today and you’re too triggered from various things to actually verbalize your feelings clearly, I’m begging you to just say ‘I can’t talk about this right now but I will explain later and I’m sorry’. And then you do have to actually explain later!! Easy for me to say though I suppose, I didn’t really acquire this skill myself until like my 20s…being a ptsd teen sure is hard…

It’s strange to watch people dig on Lucy for not being able to handle the things she sent through. She’s still a kid. Her teenage years have not progressed the way everyone else has. She isn’t going to have the best reaction to things, especially when these people are just reminders.
