It’s honesty and self-awareness. Not sure if that’ll make Sue feel any better, but saying what they want to hear has literally never worked out for these kids. Who knows, maybe this is progress?

I think it’s good personally. She’s actually being self-aware and honest about her feelings. I’m happy that she’s not once again dancing around the subject, or making a passive-aggressive remark that makes the other person uncomfortable. I’m hoping this means that the conversation will be productive and won’t just end with Lucy further retreating into her cocoon.

I wonder what direction it could go in. Either coming clean about the emotional turmoil she’s in or just laying on the sarcasm to push her away again. I’m hoping Lucy will be capable of just letting it out. It would be great if it didn’t fall into her trying to use romance or sex to keep people around. Are we breaking cycles here?

!!!!!!!!!!! Love this please more Lucy and Sue content!!! I just really like scenes with these two together. Sue is so brave and strong to ask Lucy directly, when they’re alone, instead of making a big scene about it. I just hope Lucy opens up a bit here and doesn’t shut it down too quick.
