I understand Paulo’s response. More than his logic, it was his feelings saying the ‘you dont have to listen to her’ line. A highschooler me would probably feel down if a best friend I treasured wanted to be away from everyone else, even me. Personal space is a thing, yes, but sometimes the young minds are used to think that they are beyond those concepts when the bond is ‘special’. It’s okay, Paulo. You will figure it out as you get older. And maybe tone it down against Sue, she’s just being a good friend :)

Okay… time to see if I can finally put into words what I have felt towards certain webcomic cats for nearly five years…
Friends, family, followers, and fellow fans, here are my thoughts regarding Mike and Lucy of Bittersweet Candy Bowl, from December of 2011 to November of 2016!Lucy and Mike’s relationship was never perfect. It was rocky, one-sided on multiple occasions, and riddled with all kinds of drama from both of them.
Even so, they were very close friends, despite all the twists life threw at them, and when it came down to the wire, they put themselves in harm’s way to keep the other safe! Holy cow, that’s dedication!
So… what went wrong?
And most of all, why hasn’t it been made right yet?
