If Rachel wants a relationship, then she needs to ask for it. Paulo hitting on other girls might hurt her feelings, but there is nothing stopping Rachel from hitting on other men (Paulo didnt stop her when he thought she was with Matt, though he was bothered/grossed out). If she wants a relationship, she needs to be a big girl and make it clear. Madison is just pissed off because shes A. a bitch and B. just assumes Paulo is the bad guy and that Rachel needs defending…. imo at least

Paulo is not stringing Rachel along and she is NOT a victim here. She set the terms and hasn’t said she wants to change them. This is a classic example of poor communication. It is NOT Paulo’s job to know what Rachel wants, he can’t read minds and a LOT of people ruin relationships by expecting the other person to “just know.” It’s a trope that needs to die already because people think that’s how thing are “supposed to work” and it’s completely unreasonable. Also, Maddy needs to butt out because it is not her place to tell Paulo what Rachel wants and since no abuse or mistreatment is happening here she has no right to get involved in their relationship at all.

Wait… didn’t Paulo and Rachel agree not to date or something like that? I might have to re read the comic again. I don’t think Maddie should have any say in any of this as she was like introduced three or four chapters ago and probably doesn’t know the rest of the cast that well
