Interesting … Paulo seems a little defensive here. I just hope that he doesn’t do anything that he will regret. Also kudos to Mike for making a legitimate point with Paulo’s argument. It is good to see Mike stand up for himself.

Even if Paulo did decide to ask Rachel to be in a relationship, who’s to say Rachel wants a relationship with Paulo? She’s got a very casual attitude about sex and doesn’t seem to want to be tied down.

I assume that Oreo Cat and Rachel are friends. They probably screwed a couple times. Wouldn’t surprise me. In the end, they thought they were better as friends than as lovers. That’s my guess.
As for Paulo: I think he just wants to feel important. More important than the countless guys that Rachel has screwed. He’s a little posessive, and a little hypocritical, but I think that he mostly just wants to be special. To stand out from the crowd. I’m not sure that he does for Rachel. If I’m right about Oreo Cat’s story, maybe it will click. If I’m right, he might see how he is basically Oreo Cat.
Of course, any prediction I make is likely to be wrong. Our benefactor Taeshi can be relied on to come up with a surprise twist that nobody expects. She’s far too smart for me. Any predictions I make must come with a disclaimer stating “Taeshi is better at this than I am.”
