What is it with Paulo and CONSTANTLY putting down abbeys problems?
He seems really eager to bring Abbeys dead mom into every argument and he constantly calls abbeys issues stupid.
Maybe he can’t understand cause of his hatred for his own mom?
Also I’m really glad that people have brought up that Abbey TRIED to be nice to Paulo at first, until he was rebuked every time - I like Paulo but I totally understand why Abbey hates him.

I feeling she is referring back to the Take Heart Chapter. When Paulo intervened in their relationship by pressuring Abbey back into a relationship with Daisy. On top of throwing more insults at Abbey he pressured him into a relationship he believes will not work because it would make Daisy happy. I can see how that would make Abbey both a little bitter towards Paulo and increase his own insecurities.
