I ADORE that last panel with naughty Daisy and Paulo (kinda a shame they didnt get it together but Abby is a great guy)
I also like the crosshatching and backgrounds : ) gives it more atmosphere

Seadogs- in the old version- it WAS Daisy’s fault, though! And Lucy was just being a huge bitch, i thought I should make their fight more fair so I had Mike be the sugestor to take the train. The remake doesn’t follow the original 100%, there are changes.

Don’t replace it! Whatever you do, don’t replace the old one!
Although this may be an updated version, the old version is still just as important! At least keep it on the site some place, losing the original one would be losing part of BCB and it’s history (and I really liked that chapter :,c)

Believe it or not, I prefer the previous art style. Sure, the new one has more details but the simplistic and impulsive style of the previous one made it more cute and warm. Anyway, it’s just my opinion, so I won’t grump anymore about it. And now that I think about it, it’s good to make improvements instead of sticking into one style forever.
By the way, I’m a new fan of your web comic. Such a shame I haven’t discovered it earlier. I prefer it from some other, more famous, overrated webcomics. Keep your great job! :3

@steve, i don’t think taeshi changed the art style cause of criticism. art style changes as the artist improves their skills. two cases in point “dominic deegan: oracle for hire” and “megatokyo” both artist had different art styles when they started their comics, but slowly but surely their style changed as they learned new techniques. and if u don’t believe me read those webcomics and you’ll see, DD can be found under the site “dominic-deegan.com” and megatokyo is well “megatokyo.com” the reason this comic was redone in new style was probably because taeshi had an idea on how to change the past work but had to use the new style of art cause the old style was forgotten. sorry for the site plug anyone who takes offense.

@Smirker: I totally agree, i don’t think mike would be very happy with Lucy shes too insensitive and insecure for him, daisy on the other hand would make a great match. and i think Paulo and Lucy could get along for reasons I’m not stating (insert spoiler here)

Here it is! 30 pages of a new Confrontation comic. This will eventually replace the older one [Ed: it did!], but for now it’s going to be posted over the next 30 days, EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK, as the newer chapter.. then it will be changed to chapter 12 and become part of the archive.
