*Daisy covers her mouth and looks on in fear, her fur standing on end and tears streaming down her face. Sue, with tears in her eyes, clings to Paulo, her tail fluffed up. Paulo lies limply, his face unreadable.*
Lucy (thinking): I can’t..
[From Lucy’s perspective, we see a starry sky and the brickwork lining the alley.]
Lucy (thinking): I can’t hear a thing..
*Lucy sobs.*
Lucy (thinking): Why won’t they..
*Lucy’s arm shoots up as Alejandro grabs her breast.*
*Lucy shoves his arm away, tearfully and desperately covering her chest.*
Lucy (thinking): Why isn’t anyone..
*Alejandro slaps Lucy in the face.*
*Alejandro begins to choke Lucy.*
*Tears well from Lucy’s eyes as Alejandro’s hold on her neck tightens.*
Lucy (thinking): No!
[The next sequence of panels depict Lucy’s view of the stars above the alley getting darker and darker.]
Lucy (thinking): No..
Lucy (thinking): Please..
*Lucy’s vision goes dark.*
Lucy (thinking): Michael..
