*Daisy trudges forward. Behind her, a slap rings out.*
*Paulo walks up behind her, rubbing a bruised cheek.*
Paulo: Well, that was a waste of time.
*Daisy looks back at him, chagrined.*
Daisy: Paulo..
*Daisy admonishes him with a scowl.*
Daisy: Why do you even BOTHER with her?!
*Paulo shrugs.*
Paulo: She’s hot, sue me.
*Daisy looks down at the ground, frustrated and annoyed.*
Daisy: That’s all she is.
*Paulo dumbly grins.*
Paulo: Hey, thrill of the chase?
*Daisy raises her hand, looking angry and despondent.*
Daisy: But she doesn’t care about ANYONE!
*Daisy folds her arms. Her annoyed expression turns pensive.*
Daisy: Mikie is such a sweet, kind guy.. He deserves someone better than her..
*Daisy rolls her eyes with an annoyed frown.*
Daisy: If he rescued her from a burning building, she’d probably yell at him for touching her.
*Paulo laughs, holding his hands behind his head.*
Paulo: “Hey jerkface! Your charred skin’s gettin’ on my fur! Asshole!!”
*Paulo and Daisy cackle.*
Paulo and Daisy: HAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHA--
*Mike stares them down.*
*They pause, with a blank smiles.*
Paulo: Heyyyyyy, kid.
*Daisy sweats a little.*
*Mike shoots them a death glare.*
*He turns away, looking weary.*
Mike: You don’t know all of her.
*The three proceed down the street. Paulo smiles nonchalantly.*
Paulo: What more is there to know? Her fist?
Mike: Oh, whatever.
*Daisy hunches over, shaking a fist at Mike to get his attention.*
Daisy: You know I’m only trying to help you, Mikie!
*Lucy watches with dismay as they walk away.*

while I do think that Daisy is a bit mean toward Lucy here. Her criticism of Lucy isn’t without its merit. After all, Lucy can be a bit of a jerk sometimes.

Lucy looks like she’s thinking something along the lines of,
, Heeeeeey kid.
“That’s what she thinks about me?” rather than the “So he does care afterall,” Soul mentioned, imo.
