This page is just adorable, it’s a pity it doesn’t last.

BUT! In terms of composing a story, I can see why they can’t just be together after this. Not much to write about if that happened, and even cutesy romance get’s sickening after a while if it’s just “I luv you!” “D’AAAAAW, I luv you tooooo!”

So, while it frustrates me to no end that it turns out as it does, definitely the better choice in terms of writing a continuous plot.
