Love the little detail of Gus’s arm trembling- it looks as if he WANTS to hit Mike, but he chooses not to and puts his hand on his shoulder instead. I don’t want this to get violent…firm words are enough. :)

The bait and switch of the preview image lol I thought for sure this page was about to pivot into Mike getting some sympathy and I was gearing up to be so disappointed in Augustus for letting him off the hook that easily. That red background in the final panel, Augustus is PISSED and I am living for it

Not going to lie, I would have been disappointed too if Augustus reached out of sympathy. Mike is actually my favorite character but that boy needs some serious character development that only a firm hand can shake into him. Is Augustus pissed at Mike? Yes, did he also start visibly shaking levels of pissed the second Mike started talking about some potentially emotionally abusive stuff from Sandy? Also yes. Is he too mad to realize this, or is he mad because he realizes this?

I think he realizes the relationship Mike is in isn’t healthy, and knows about Lucy, which is what set this all up for him. I’m happy Augustus didn’t immediately deck Mike but I feel like Mike needs a good slap to wake up

Just realized Gus is saying “you know how”—to say no to her. Rather than a weird way to say “how do you know?” Maybe an underline under “know” or adding “to say no to her” would flow better? The last panel was a bit confusing.

To me the period at the end of “You know how.” and Augustus facial expression was enough emphasis on what he meant. I wouldn’t have gotten “how do you know” out of it, tbh :O
