This confession of love is more wholesome than a romantic one. I seriously hope Lucy recovers.

This is a really nice way to handle this topic. Relationships don't need to be romantic to provide love and support. Its seems so simple to understand within family, but getting that same kind of support from others is so rare nowadays, even within tightly knit friend groups. But it's important to realize that option is available outside of committed couples, and Augustus is probably the perfect character to show that. Honestly, it feels like Paulo is getting to that point too.

I really love this page, a true friend is a treasure, though deep down I still hope they will get it on romantically one day, maybe some years after school? because right now Lucy really needs to recover, heal and move on for herself before thinking about any new guys and I think Aug knows that, I mean he looks a bit holding back on panels 10-12 :x

These two are my OTP as well so I love this completely and think this is the best thing for them right now but still hold out a little hope for their relationship to evolve in the future. He doesn't love her 'like that' is a little vague, if I can allow myself to reach. I can't say if he means not romantically or not in a way that would allow him to take advantage of her in this state.
