They are still just stupid young kids trying to navigate the adult world soon.

She’s a self proclaimed slut, Paulo aside she’s probably got experience with one and done no feels

Fertility doesn’t have to be a deal breaker if all parties are interested in adoption. Also she is just a self assured slut that likes pretty boys, which I believe he canonically falls into lol. I don’t see him reciprocating or having any interest though

I will say it’s really interesting how some of you feel some people can be redeemed but others can’t. I’m just assuming a lot of you are, well, children yourselves so it explains some of these very black and white takes.

Yup. This comic really bucks black and white morality a lot. Even Daisy, the borderline do-no-wrong cinnamon roll, had a stint where everyone treating her as innocent or naive pushed her to be manipulated by someone because he was the only one actively listening to her and what she wanted, which in turn led her to do some really awful things. (Wounds which she’s very much mended by this point)

Specifically in regards to Mike, the easiest punching bag due to his repeated poor decision making in his relationships, most people’s sticking points seem to come from how genuine his remorse is. Because at the end of the day, a lot of the time it comes across as him looking for pity or him wanting a relationship mended, rather than simply expressing an earnest apology and leaving it to the hurt party to reach out. (See him constantly trying to reach out to Lucy when it’s extremely clear she just doesn’t want to interact with him)
