And then god said, ‘Let ‘**********’ be one word!” And confusion there was across the land. One more thing, why is that censored?
Impressive, not even I can disperse a group of ‘those kind of people’ that fast, and I insert Spanish and Russian interjections into my regular speech.
Also, I can imagine it will be rather difficult to defend Mike now as he clearly just blew off plans he had with Lucy prior to this event.

On a closing note, Forever Alone.

It’s also nice to see when Lucy and Mike started the full downward spiral. Gotta love the revelations this chapter.

Oh right. For a moment I forgot this was a flashback. Ha. Still.. looks like the beginning of their downward spiral.. (or should I say freefall… that seems more accurate.)

I think we’re all seeing some of mikes jerk-ness from a new perspective… I mean he clearly just threw away whatever that was he was going to help Lucy with in favor of not having to be near her. To make it better he loudly announces this where everyone can hear him do so. (Good planning there.)

Might I also add that the rest of the peeps dispersed… a little too quickly… it would seem… hmm.. well, this is a nice little oppertuinity for Paulo to jump in and play a nice guy…

But we all know that he will just be explaining to jess and Rachel what’s up while poor Lucy sulks…

He not only showed that he has absolutely no regard for Lucy what-so-ever, he showed that he also has no regards as to the consequences of his actions. I guess that’s what Lucy gets for asking for his help in the first place. He compartmentalizes his friends. They go into two categories: The ones that kiss his petunia, i.e.: Daisy, Susan, Amaya; and the ones who don’t, i.e. : Paulo, David, Abbey, Lucy. I just wish he would grow up and see how mean he’s being. “Oh yeah, he’s such a great guy, but don’t tell him otherwise unless you want to be publicly humiliated.”

Ha, nothing like a good **********. Did Lucy come to turn it into bukkake? On a side note, turns out putting “*******” for Paulo’s name is not an accepted answer. I motion that it should be.

Wow Mike might actually be right
They might all actually follow Mike and leave Lucy when he leaves as well
I mean based of THAT reaction it’s a lot more plausible
Becuase they don’t seem to see how much if a jerk Mike is really being
While I don’t think they’re connecting all the dots
The herd mentality seems strong among them
Poor Lucy I know what it feels like to be alienated

Ah, man, so much Mike-hate immediately. Should be expected here, really, but still. Lucy was nothing but rude and abrasive right from the get-go, you know. And Mike’s excuse is valid - if he’s got an essay that’s due pretty much immediately, that’s got to take priority. He’s rude and abrasive about it too, of course, but no reason for him to take all the heat here, jeez.

@Marvelous TK
I agreed with you quite a bit here. He could’ve been nicer, but Mike’s dealt with years of abuse from Lucy and his patience wore thin. This sort of thing happens a lot when school actually tasks people. What all the Mike haters forget is that he’s only marginally smarter than most of the other students. That inevitably means quite a bit more stress when dealing with schoolwork.
So yeah, Mike is a bit of a jerk, but you really can’t hold that against him. Struggling to maintain a relationship long distance, keep up your grades, AND deal with far more drama than most could handle takes its toll. He’s showing that he isn’t perfect, just as Paulo is explaining to the girls.

Zorak October 12, 2012, 12:32 AM EST.

And so, Mike missed scoring points with Rachel and Jessica. Well, Mike did say he had a paper due to tomorrow, and Lucy kind of took it from there, but only due to Mike’s reaction to her presence. I guess this could be leading to when he was considering to willingly avoid her, based on this scene anyway. He has a good excuse to change his plans with Lucy, but because Lucy didn’t take it well………. I can see why he’d want to avoid her.

Maybe when Mike and the rest of their friends DO “leave Lucy”, Rachel and Jessica would probably be there to make Lucy not feel as alone as she feels. Jessica already doesn’t think Mike was all that impressive, to begin with, and this revelation probably just lowered her opinion of him, for all we know. And Rachel is Rachel, so no problems there (I think). I kinda hope Lucy does have someone else with her aside from Agustus though…… I feel kind of uneasy about that.

Subaru October 12, 2012, 12:40 AM EST.

Comment ID #231128

I agree with you there.
It’s not really hate (from me, anyway) It’s seeing that even though she was abusive in the past, and yeah, pretty rude now, it doesn’t excuse his present actions. I’ve expected him to rise above the situation, given how nice he’s been over the years, but this one seems to cut too deep for him to see clearly. I know from personal experience that treating someone like crap, no matter if it’s Mike or Lucy can end in pain for both sides. Something’s bound to explode, and being alienated the way she is, Lucy might turn to violence towards herself if she doesn’t have a support system. I’m afraid for her, that’s all.

GoddessEpidemic October 12, 2012, 12:40 AM EST.

Comment ID #231129

Mike’s kind of a jerk, but Lucy was always the jerk first. :L I mean, yeah, I feel bad for her, simply because she’s obviously vulnerable and he does mean a lot to her, but it’s not like his jerk attitude was unwarranted. A person can only take so much.

I also agree with @Shoop-a-doop here, regarding the whole “They might all actually leave with him” thing. Though some of them do seem to have Lucy’s back, it doesn’t mean that they don’t have Mike’s more.

Comment ID #231137

Wow, Lucy - you did a double insult there with calling Mike the ********** who’s on the rag AND calling Daisy a nerd. If you honestly had someone as abrasive as Lucy around you, you’d probably hate on her too - even if you found out about her “not really terrible past”. Most people would say that she should “grow up” or “get over herself”.

Good for Mike for putting an end to this crap.

P.S - on the rag = PMSing/on your “.”

K October 12, 2012, 1:12 AM EST.

Comment ID #231138

Umm… to the people who are saying that Lucy initiated the insults on Mike here. She didn’t. To be rather bluntly honest, she was insinuating that the girls were the ones who were having the “**********”. The fact that they were all swooning, fawning, and otherwise showing an interest in wanting to have someone as smart as him help him was what she was talking about. So she didn’t just walk up and insult him. Rather the opposite. She was pointing out the girls behavior towards him that he was the center of and seemed to be enjoying the attention. He became hostile and blew her off, maybe he did have a valid reason, but he didn’t have to basically say “**** Off, I have other plans and none that involve you.”

If you notice Mike’s face when she first walks up to him and just says “Mike” he looks like he is scowling at her. He looks aggressive and ****** off before she even said anything remotely insulting. That tells me that he was annoyed by just her presence and says a lot more about his attitude at the start by just seeing her than hers.

She also calls Daisy a nerd all the time. But I also think it might have been a veiled way of her saying that Daisy does her best to rub off on him by constantly clambering for his attention. The only thing that was really insulting him directly was her asking about him being on the rag because of his prickly and standoff “I’m not going to make plans with you or stick to our plans so get lost.” behavior.

I am by no means justifying the way Lucy acts, but in this she didn’t start out acting rudely to him, rather towards the girls who were trying to get his attention. Which in a way is a little reasonable, she was showing a tinge of jealousy about him blowing off their plans by inserting herself and also bodily placing herself between him and them.

I know if the guy I liked had girls gushing and trying for his attention, knew he had a girlfriend, and saw all of that I would be a little jealous too. Especially if it included him blowing off plans already made.

How can people defend Lucy? How can people defend MIKE?

He’s smiling when he’s surrounded by “yes-men” (or girls in this situation), but is immediately terse when someone who doesn’t praise him comes up. How weak and vain of him.

And I don’t care if Lucy was rude from the start. If one of MY friends ditched me without having the decency to let me know (instead letting me find out by overhearing it discussed with the people he/she was ditching me for), then I would be rude too. I suppose the Lucy haters would prefer if she turned inward like Daisy does - apologizing and bashing herself while saying nothing about it to anyone. Lucy DOES turn her frustration inward, but that doesn’t stop her from approaching the people who started the frustration.

Please, Paulo, save the day.

I really wish Lucy wouldn’t keep hanging onto Mike for so long. It must really suck to be continuously misread and rejected. I mean it’s not like she’s trying to be mean to him or overly aggressive, it’s just a communication style that Mike isn’t comfortable with. She’s gotten so resigned to how hostile he is with with her, at least she never showed such outright contempt for him. Their whole friendship has disintegrated and it’s clear that Lucy has no idea what to do other than to react like she always has and continue as if nothing’s wrong. If anything’s wrong with her social skills, her inexperience -not her attitude- is definitely it.

Got to say, it seems that mike wasn’t offensive at all, he stated a fact. He has other obligations that take precedence. Lucy was the one being abrasive and, well, a bit of a pain. Can’t blame the guy for dealing with the immediate concern that could cost him serious points off his grade (when i was going through high school essays were about a 1/4 of your final grade).

But of course that doesn’t matter to the mike haters does it, “wah wah, he didn’t jump through hoops and bend over backwards for lucy, he’s a meany poo poo head”

That feeling of isolation is never fun (these cats represent people and people are social creatures).
If only Mike could see this situation with different eyes. He’s obviously the one in control of it; Lucy is really just following his lead, despite the tough act.
Although he is trying to create some space, he has no idea of the monster he’s nurturing by his very abrupt, rather than fluid methods.
Lucy also has some control, but not as much. She attempted to be friendly and Mike still stiffs her to the point where it got ugly.
Oh well, guess Mike thought it was an effective method and Lucy realizing too late tried to mend the gap, but ended up falling through it instead. The things they (we) do…

That’s right. Don’t let those haters destroy this beautiful creature of chaos.

@Strider and rest of white knight crusade
Hell, Mike Supporters could find something to justify muss murder if momma’s boy would have guts to commit one. Ya, Lucy was rude, though she also stated a fact. Though this time I admit it’s Lucy’s fault. Since she clearly doesn’t see that a guy she considers her only friend is pretty much a shallow person. Seriously, we have a book example of bee queen attitude here. All sparkling and glamour while surrounded by herd that would most likely praise him, if he decided to poop in the middle of corridor, and suddenly we have rude, and defensive attitude when someone states the obvious. There are two factors that are really important here:
- He didn’t informed Lucy about “change of plans”. And Daisy comment suggest this happened some time before since she said: “are we still”. That implies he declared he’ll “study” with them long before, at least one day. Enough time to inform Lucy that he ain’t helping.
- Once again - no ****ing responsibility for what he does whatsoever. He declared he’ll help her, and suddenly: “no, lol, gonna go with Daisy, who almost raped me, to study with her current boyfriend, AWKWARD **** YEAH”. We don’t know the situation, but he might have left Lucy with an awful lot of work to do by herself, maybe also due to tomorrow.

Also: I like other cat-people reaction: “Oooooooh, he left.” Mmmm… what was I doing just before, oh well…”. Seriously shallow people are shallow. One would think Sue with her strong personality and beliefs would be impervious to Mike’s boyish charm, but no, **** that. She’s also all over him. Gary Stu strikes again.

Lucy is not entitled to having her feelings reciprocated by mike. For one, they are both being hostile. For two, how long does he have to communicate dissatisfaction with her presence before she catches the drift and stays away from him? She’s willfully inserting herself in his life, against his will, when she clearly is no longer welcome, and for good reason.

I’m not saying she or mike are monsters, but bad blood is had here, and ignoring it over wishful thinking only led to her getting what she deserved.

Yes, she could have been more polite instead of bringing in Daisy for no reason, but it looks like she deals with you in a masculine bro-to-bro way… maybe you’re mad because she wastes the mood of your “omg green eye cutie” groupies?

This chapter is set before Paulo’s “adventures” with Rach and Jess. Just before the “Back and Forth” chapter if I can remember correctly. It’s meant to be a starting point for new readers that don’t want to start from the very early chapters.

And how would you feel if the girl you’re sick of having to put up with walked up to you and started insulting your friends right out of the gate? I’d imagine you wouldn’t be too happy about it. As for your little “vanity” comment, let’s consider this: Tessa and Abbey don’t swoon over Mike day in and day out, yet he still hangs around them with a smile on his face. Why is that, you suppose? Could it be because they’re not constantly abusing/insulting him like a certain white cat and a certain orange cat do on a daily basis? I would mention a certain brown dog, but I think the orange cat is the only person who actually puts up with his stupidity.

On a different note…

One would think doing an essay takes priority over doing a poster, wouldn’t you agree? Mike failing to inform Lucy about the change of plans earlier is the only fault I can see coming from him on this page. Other than that, he handled the situation much better than he does later on in the story. Oh, and what’s this? Instead of staying there arguing with her, he decides to just WALK AWAY. Any other person would have gotten a freakin’ medal of honor for doing such a thing, but no, because it’s Mike, it just means he’s being a vain, 10/10 douche.

Call us white knights all you like, the fact still remains: Lucy provoked, and got the reaction she deserved. Everyone’s accepted that’s just the way she is, but that doesn’t mean they have to bend over and take it like she’s some sort of dominatrix.

“And how would you feel if the girl you’re sick of having to put up with walked up to you and started insulting your friends right out of the gate?”

Probably wouldn’t offer help to said person in the first place which would kinda help prevent whole situation from happening, now wouldn’t it?

“Tessa and Abbey don’t swoon over Mike day in and day out, yet he still hangs around them with a smile on his face. ”

And so we don’t see much of interactions between him and those two. Well aside that one situation when Abbey tried to beat crap out of him, and Tessa was bullying him for not accepting Lucy’s feelings. And he hangs out with said orange cat as well. Most likely because said orange cat could put him in his place in case of misbehaviour.

“One would think doing an essay takes priority over doing a poster, wouldn’t you agree?”

Depends. If doing essay would mean I leave a person to who I offered help before with shitload of work to do, then I would pick the poster, then do essay on my own and sleep less. Happened few times during my school days. But yeah, responsibility is so 90’s. And he would miss out weird threesome.

“Oh, and what’s this? Instead of staying there arguing with her, he decides to just WALK AWAY.”

*****! ! !

“Any other person would have gotten a freakin’ medal of honor for doing such a thing, but no, because it’s Mike, it just means he’s being a vain, 10/10 douche.”

If said “other person” wouldn’t make plans and then wouldn’t “fail to inform” her about change of plans, then yeah, probably. But yeah, leaving someone to do all the work after promising to help, and not informing said person is fine and dandy. Sorry, Mike is only 9/10 douche. People who think this sort of behaviour is acceptable are 10/10. Because you let the douches spread the douchness.

“Lucy provoked, and got the reaction she deserved”

Way to ignore reason of this misbehaviour. Action provokes reaction. But yeah, if we forget that Mike broke promise, and no one forced him to help her, then this makes sense. Though we are forgeting about important fact.

Commander_Zero October 12, 2012, 11:22 AM EST.

He has an essay to do tomorrow. Can’t expect him to just not do it and fail, or to dump all the responsibility on Daisy and Abbey. Though he could have gone at the situation in a better way, perhaps an apology or something to make it up to her for changing plans so suddenly. Though Lucy makes it hard, the first thing coming out of her mouth being an insult and all. While it’s hard to be kind to someone who comes on so strongly, you probably shouldn’t go with the offensive, even though it’s your first reaction. No one deserves to be left alone like that…

When yd your partner agree twork together on something its common courtesy to let them know if the plans changed. Poor Lucy. I see people looking at it from mikes point of view but just imagine how Lucy felt. One of her best friends was just hitting on her(again) and now she hears Mike making planes even though he promised her he would help her. Yes she could have been nicer, but it really hurts when people do that. Not only that but now she’s on her own again. It makes me sad to think these two once risked there lives to save each other and are now (current chapters and this chapter) tearing each other apart.
It’s almost like Mike, now that he has Sandy, has just dumped Lucy and started being cruel to her.

It’s sad…

Tht comes out the random too, anyways. Aww boohoo, poor lucy. You want a cookie? Lol, sorry if I’m sounding cynical, but this is getting pretty cliche. In the bcb continuity, however, mikes a dick regardless, but lucy had it coming. She doesn’t deserve what she gets, but she feels guilty regardless, and OHMAIGAWD I’M GETTING DAIJAVU (or however its spelled) don’t get me wrong, I love this comic, but this is getting kind of re-dic-o-lus.

You know, Lucy could just have a different vocabulary usage than Mike. Like, what Mike would consider insults are just normal words for Lucy. Instead of “I don’t mean to interrupt your -meeting-” it’s “I don’t mean to interrupt your -circle-jerk-“, or “You -doing alright-, or something” it’s “You -on the rag-, or something”. Not meant to be derogatory, or rude, just the only way she knows how to speak. Sometimes courtesy and filters are a second language for people.

That all being said, I don’t think Lucy fully understands that those words aren’t exactly friend-friendly, especially a friend that’s on the verge of not being so. She does later on, when people point it out to her, but right now no one’s really pointing it out to her that “Circle-jerk is a no-no word”.

Also, my hatred for Mike has subdued into a raw lump of rotting annoyance. This action doesn’t surprise me, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that’s been reading this long enough. Though, it’s not uncalled for, and even though Lucy has been acting rude and haphazardly for the majority of this friendship, it’s probably the only way she knows how to act. :|

Normally don’t take sides between the two sad sacks, but holy hell.

If you’re gonna be sarcastic and abrasive to a person in front of their friends, expect to get some backlash in front of said friends. If Lucy had decided to address the issue besides having to take the passive aggressive jabs at Daisy and the others, she would have gotten her answer in a less abrasive manner. Then, she could have just mentioned that being blown off was a disappointment and then grow a pair and move on.

Ugh, Lucy reminds me so much of me as a kid and it makes me sick. >.

They’re teenagers. Lucy has been an irredeemable bitch for the whole of their friendship. How else can you expect Mike to act? Trying to analyse this is like trying to read into cloud patterns. It’s just cause and effect; Mike’s done nothing wrong except finally grow a pair and brush off his annoying little personal doom-cloud.

Way more simple, Mike vs. Lucy peeps. Lucy is a tsundere - her primary mode of existence is: “I don’t know how to cope with feelings that aren’t angry, bitter, or sad, so in the face of someone I actually like, I’m going to come off as angry, bitter, or sad.” And Mike, unfortunately, is a tsundere’s worst target - he sees the angry, bitter, and sad behavior and does not understand it. He feels that Lucy is attacking him on a personal level, when in reality she treats everyone the same way (though in varying degrees). Sadly, for as much good as Sandy helping Mike stand up for himself is, it seems that Mike can only cope with Lucy’s behavior by turning her into a pariah. Which is an unpleasant yet possible side-effect of being a tsundere - some people just end up hating you. I feel that Lucy and Mike will both eventually come to understand that they just couldn’t work as a couple; unless Taeshi surprises us with a chapter full of dramatic change and intrigue! :O

Not even close. October 12, 2012, 3:07 PM EST.

Whoa, slow that brain train right there brotha. You are not seriously commenting physics here? If you want to go that route, then shouldn’t there be an equal yet opposite reaction for his action. Let’s see he had to change his plans and forgot to mention it to lucy. So tell me how is her insulting him and others and abrasive actions/comments equivalent to a momentary lapse in memory.
to be blunt:
(reaction) (action)
being a bitch =/= Lapse in memory

Seems to me, those who protect lucy are the white knights, those who defend mike are just grounded in reality.

Only thing you guys are grounded to is your own point of view. As I said: if you offer help to someone, and then suddenly, at the moment when the person expect you to help her, as promised you’re all like “lol, change of plans” without even expressing some kind of regret, then you should expect some bitching. Plus her comment about the whole bee queen situation was rude, but accurate at the same time.

What bee queen?
Anyhow, judging from past comments it seems that in comparison:
Mike defenders have actually admitted his faults while they’re defending him. They even admitted here that, yeah, he should’ve informed her earlier that he had another issue come up.

But you lucy defenders seem to have raised her to a state of saint hood and don’t recognize when she’s done wrong herself (i.e. this comic, did she really have to come up to a group who was already in a conversation and just blurt out what she did while butting in). Seriously any time someone even glances wrong at her, you guys suddenly go friggin hulk on everyone “grrr, mike bad, destroy mike, hulk smash.”

I agree with you for the most part, but there are a few things Mike has done that were completely uncalled for - biggest example being his classroom outburst near the beginning of the “December” chapter. That was one thing he really just needed to keep to himself.

You know looking throughout the whole series as a whole so far Mike is loved by everyone at the beginning then hated toward the end for finally not being able to take the constant punishment from Lucy ( even though she is rough and abrasive personality type dosent give them a waver to walk over people ). You can be made out of steel but you will give way to constant wear , that is what happened to mike and now from holding it all in , all the grudge and anger he had to bottle up it all explodes out.

He still trys to be the good guy but for that solid fact that he reached his limit with that one person ( lucy ) makes it hard to not be extremely blunt and abrasive toward them. Dosent matter how strong you are , you will always snap due to constant wear and tear.

Mike you handled it roughly but still in the right way. Thumbs up so far.

Wow, was Lucy always so small? I thought at least Daisy would be shorter than her, but I guess not.

Or maybe those last few panels are a representation of how small Lucy feels at being constantly rejected by Mike. She’s handling it pretty calmly on this page. The usual Lucy would raise her voice and punch and kick. Kind of disappointed that nobody, not even Sue, stayed to reassure her.

I don’t understand why people are mad at Mike on this page. Lucy comes in and insults the people around him, telling him that he has to help her with her assignment. He tells her that he has his own work due tomorrow and that he’s working with others who have the same assignment. Lucy then insults both Mike and Daisy. Mike tells her to grow up. Lucy just insults him, then Mike leaves.

Lucy started mean, and Mike’s the bad guy for walking away before a big shouting match starts? Mike could have handled it better, and has handled it better in the past, in fact I would say Mike has become less mature. However Lucy has not become more mature, and Mike has given her more patience over the years than most of us have to give. Mike doesn’t cross the line until December.

So I just went back and began rereading the entire series. Upon reading the first page and seeing Lucy just stare longingly at a picture of what I presume is Mike then we go ahead to see a middle school Lucy meeting all her old friends and Mike. From that I got a crazy crazy idea. What if everything up to this point is just an older Lucy flashbacking? Minus all the character specific flashbacks of course.

Comment ID #231217

Nay, as I said her reaction was harsh, but hell if that was conversation. If girls would hold mirra, gold and that third thing this would look like adoration of freakin Jesus Christ. Though three kings weren’t kissing Jesus *** so much. Of course Lucy acted rather not polite, but hey, she was entitled to, since jerk left her on the ice with her work in order to do other work with other people, so of course she was ******. Sorry Stri, but when someone is at fault, said person should be more humble. If you let someone down expect to get some ****. Seriously, that’s not one of those things you learn while being grown up, this is one of those things you learn once you’re able to take a dump without help (and which you’ll lose once you won’t be able to take a dump without help anymore, dunno how, but those two things seems to be connected).

And no, no one is considering Lucy’s saint. We know her flaws, yet we are able to see why she’s acting like she acting. You guys on the other hand are all like: “Yeah, we know Mike did a horrible thing but…”. You ever heard that everything before a “but” in the sentence is a ********? You guys are able to see that Mike is doing something wrong, I give you that. But at the same time you’re unable to see how it causes Lucy’s growing anger, and thus her misbehaviour, and you try to justify it. No matter what happens you try to justify it. So even though you’re able to notice his naughty deeds you fail to accept the fact that this sort of behaviour is hardly ok, and thus Mike deserves at least some of **** coming his way. Yet you guys are quick to point out how Lucy deserves a mental equivalent of crucification, because of her misdeeds. Double standards, that’s what it is, my good fellow.

Lucy seemed stressed out during said incident, but Mikey ended up mostly making an *** of himself. Serves him right.

Aaaaaand this seems to be whole reason behind of it. Mike wanting to hang out with those three instead of Lucy. And I would see nothing wrong with that, but for **** sake, why did he offered help before?

Isn’t that exactly what your doing? In the same comment even.

“Lucy acted rather not polite, but…”

You should follow your own advice.

Anyway, I think both of them are at fault here. Mike shouldn’t have blown off Lucy so callously. But walking into a conversation with insults isn’t the smartest thing to do. Especially if they’re towards people who have nothing to do with the situation. I get Lucy being mad at Mike , but calling Daisy a nerd was completely uncalled for.

Mike acted irresponsibly, so Lucy acted with hostility, which caused Mike to act defensively. They’re both being stubborn and immature, its no wonder their friendship fell apart :(

@Lumi Except what Lucy said here wasn’t in any way playful. Just her being her usual tactless self. Mike doesn’t take her “snarky” attitude well anymore because he’s sick of her in general. It’s kinda hard to take it seriously though, since few times Mike even laughed after being “abused”, but yeah, now it’s seriouz bitnatch.

“Isn’t that exactly what your doing? In the same comment even.”
But… that’s the different situation since I… ummm… STANDING ON A MORAL HIGHGROUND! Thats it! So yeah, you can’t judge me, since you don’t have any right to do so. Phew, that was a close one…

I like how the majority of the fanbase here still forget that these are mere teenagers (the characters) and thus are liable to think that whatever they decide to do is always right forever.

I also “like” how the anti arguments against lucy boils down to “oh she pushed him a little and he’s a boy so he can take it but lets pretend she’s beating him bit a metal baseball bat and mike’s some sort of frail schoolgirl.”

And the anti arguments against mike is “he’s a dick, he may have reason, but he’s a dick. dickity dick dick. and let’s obsess over the fact”

Also, I’m going to speak for everyone, ever, to comment here:

And then I find those few arguments that are well formulated and completely correct in their assessment- that simply either gets ignored, forgotten on the next page, or drowns out in some loudmouth’s shouting giving other people who think the same as the well founded, well worded opinion a bad name.

I read about cats. Teenager cats. With drama on the side.
