Yup, to be fair she was manipulated into that whole fiasco but it is still good to see her taking ownership and growing to see how wrong it was.

I also read this not as her complimenting him exactly but saying “you are too nice!” as a polite way of saying “You put the feelings of others ahead of your own too much”.
