Honestly I've been there and yeah, it won't feel ok. It's not supposed to. Trust was broken and that can cause long term damage in a relationship. Always wondering about the "what ifs"

"What if they're just doing this to pacify me? Or telling me one thing while doing another?"

The fact is she put him on the back burner for someone else and that's going to be a lingering sting.
